Entebbe mongers today received sh360m that will help the club improve the welfare of the players and also identify more talents that will keep the club growing.

The three year support will see the club get sh120m annually an increase from sh52m a year as it was in the previous contract.

Plascon’s Managing Director Santosh Gumte noted that their continued partnership with Mongers is because the team has maintained good governance and transparency on and off the turf .

“At Plascon we pride ourselves in understanding our customers. Over the decades this has been demonstrated through the various unique products we have pioneered on the local market including but not limited to the anti-mosquito paint,” said Mr. Gumte.

“But while our customers are passionate about the beauty of their homes and state of their health, they have other aspects of life they are passionate about of which sports is key. Sports is a unifier of people from all walks of life, provides employment and has also provided some of the best ambassadors Uganda has ever had. For this, and more reasons we have decided to extend our commitment with the Plascon Mongers,” he added.
