Two seasons after their former partner Hima Cement left, arguably the country’s most successful Rugby club Heathens has doned in an old green jersey.

However, that is no more, as the 15-time league champions on Thursday Febuary 17,20222 unveiled a sh20m new kit sponsor Platinum Credit.

The Kyadondo side rebranded to their original colours of yellow and blue and the new kit will be done d on Saturday Febuary 19,2022 as they host rivals Stanbic Black Pirates in Nile Special Premier Rugby League at Kyadondo Rugby Ground.

The former kit consisted of green and black colours that reflected their then sponsors Hima Cement.

Kyadondo boss Brian Tabaruka is excited seeing the team regain it’s initial colours and believes that the sky is the limit for the side.

“Heathens are a great team and we are currently on top of the league log. We are proud of them and confident that their performance will always be top notch,” the former club fullback noted.

Jonathan Kiggundu, Platinum Credit Marketing Manager noted that they are humbled to partner with the winning brand Heathens in the development rugby that impacts the lives of many young people.

Club captain Michael Wokorach is upbeat that his side will put in a good shift but has cautioned his charges against complacency.

“Our main target this season is to win games with bonus points. However, this league is tough and the game against Pirates will equally be tough. However, we’re in great shape and are confident of winning it,” he said with confidence.

Heathens are atop the table with 34 points, a point above second placed Bweyogerere side Pirates.
