The national netball team has got a big boost ahead of the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games that start in July 2022.
The paint company Plascon announced a sponsorship package to aid in the preparation for the Commonwealth games and other activities this year worth Seventy million shillings (sh70,m), today May 25, 2022 at the netball offices in Old Kampala.
The package has sh50m cash and sh20m in promotions and marketing of the sport.
“We are much delighted to get this support and we shall not take this for granted. We shall promote and protect the image of Plascon,” UNF president Sarah Babirye stated during the media briefing.
The money will help the tea to prepare for the Commonwealth Games.
