Rally Ronald Sebuguzi started on a high note winning Day one of the SMC Bwera rally in Masaka but later finished second overall.

The UMOSPOC driver navigated by Anthony Mugambwa in Ford Feista had his maiden win since he acqyuired the new machine and vowed to go for wins next season.

“We congratulate Duncan (“Kinkankane” Mubiru) for winning but I want to tell you that we are just learning car and next year we shall be used to it,” Sebuguzi told USPA Media.

Mubiru won the event, but Ponsiano Lwakataka who finished third stretched the lead to 342points.

A podium finish in the next event will hand Lwakataka the NRC title which will be his third national title, level with Jas Mangat and BAR Aviation sponsored Ronald Sebuguzi.

Sebuguzi fueled by Shell V-Power has just acquired the new Ford Fiesta the same car Duncan Mubiru is driving.
