Kobs celebrate winning the Rujumba 7s title.

After struggling in three Nile Special Sevens circuits, Kampala Old Boys (Kobs) bounced back in style winning the Stanbic Rujumba 7s held at Kings Park Arena Bweyogerere in Wakiso district.

Kobs beat Heathens 10-5 in the tightly contested fine and thanks to Jurua and Pius Ogena who scored the two tries.

The Rujumba 7s is an annual tournament in memory of the fallen Black Pirates legend Henry Rujumba who was also a national team player in both the 7s and 15s versions of the sport.

Whereas Kobs can not successfully defend this year’s title, they target winning all the remaining three circuits that include Tooro, Kyabazinga and Kyadondo Circuits.
