Airtel Uganda on Friday, November 11, 2022, injected sh100m into Uganda Golf Club to facilitate the club activities including the Wednesday weekly Night Club golf.

Uganda Golf Club captain Wamala Emmanuel, said that the partnership helps members enjoy club golf as the club champion the development of the sport.

“This club was founded by Governor Sir Hurry Johnstone 114 years ago and we are celebrating 115years next year. So, this partnership will facilitate several club activities,” Wamala said.

Airtel Head of Brand and Communications Noela Byuma pledged continued support to the sport of golf.

“We were in golf before and we are back. However, we are here to engage golfers in the development of sports and health. We started with football and basketball but now we have started with golf for a year and we shall grow together,” Byuma said.
