There is no looking back after taking charge of the Nile Special Sevens national championship log.

Following a 28-0 win over Plascon Mongers in the Tooro 7s Circuit on Sunday, July 30, 2023, and successfully defending the Circuit, Kobs eyes to win the remaining three circuits.

“We want the remaining circuits to reclaim the Nile Special 7s Circuit National title we lost to Jinja Hippos last year,” Kobs Skipper Manano Alhaji said his team being crowned winners of the Tooro Circuit again.

In the semifinal, Kobs saw off the national champions Jinja Hippos 5 -19 while Mongers beat Rhinos 17-5.

Rugby giants Platinum Credit Heathens and Nile Special League champions were kicked out in the group stages and quarterfinals respectively.

The National 7s series after the Stone City 7s in Jinja, Kitgum7s in northern Uganda, Rujumba 7s in Bweyogerere Wakiso and Tooro 7s in the tourism City Fortportal, takes a two-week break for players to concentrate on the national team.

On return they will tackle Kyadondo 7s in Kampala, then Tororo 7s in Tororo and the Kyabazinga 7s which will be the climax in Jinja Bugembe Stadium.
