Uganda drivers in the Just concluded Burundi International rally are happy with their performance.

Yasin Nasser, Jas Mangat and Innocent Bwamik told USPA media that they were impressed with the results because they got a podium finish in the event that is the fourth leg of the Africa Rally Champion(ARC) held in Ngozi city of Burundi.

“We are happy that we came second because that was our target. We are still on top of the table and we shall pick up the fight from that in the next events,” the MOIL Fueled driver said after the event in Burundi.

Despite finishing second behind Kenya’s Karan Patel, Yasin is top of the table standings with 78 points followed by Jas Mangat (63 points) and then Patel with 60 points.

For Yasin to win the ARC, he must win one event and then finish second in the other two events while for Mangat to be the champion, he has to win all three events which include the Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally, Zambian International and Tanzania International rally.
