Uganda Christian University in Mukono sent a warning signal to all its opponents to be ready for a rude welcome at their home Ground.

The Mukono-based Christian university did not have any mercy for their Vistors Busitema in the ongoing Pepsi University Football League and whipped them 7-1 in the game played on Tuesday, October 3rd,2023 evening.

Charged at their home ground UCU had two hat-tricks by Peter Kyomuhendo and Geofrey Gagganya in the second half of the game.

Isaac Ofoywroth scored the other goal for the Canons, while Okiria Joel managed the consolation goal for the Busia-based university via a penalty.

The league continues with other teams including Kyambogo, Ndejje, Uganda Martyrs Nkozi who are the defending champions, Makerere, MUBS, St. Lawrence University and Bishop Stuart all targeting this year’s title in the league sponsored by Pepsi.
